Your first week: a checklist for Org Admins

A day-by-day plan to roll Trackion out without surprises.

A calm rollout makes the data trustworthy from day one. Here is a simple plan for your first week.

Day 1: settings and roles

  • Set the defaults in Global Settings: screenshot interval, auto end, time zone and working hours.
  • Decide who needs which role. Keep Org Admin for the few people who handle settings and billing. See Roles: who can see what.

Day 2: tell your team

Explain why you are using Trackion, what it records and what it never records, and who can see the data. Share Trackion for employees so people know what to expect.

Day 3: add people and reporting lines

Add employees with the right Reporting To person, then create groups and projects. Reporting lines decide what managers see.

Day 4: install the desktop app

Ask everyone to install the app and track a short test session. Check Online Now on the dashboard to confirm people appear.

Day 5: first look at the data

Open the Time Summary report and check that hours look right. Small gaps are normal on the first day while people learn to start the timer.
