The employee score explained

Half hours against target, half productivity, labelled from Excellent to Needs Improvement.

Updated October 22, 2026 1 min read

The employee score appears in Time Summary, on employee pages and in the dashboard leaderboards.

How it is calculated

  • 50% comes from hours: worked hours against the person’s daily target, capped at 100%.
  • 50% comes from productivity: their productive share of worked time.
  • Weekends are left out.

Labels

  • Excellent: 80 or more.
  • Good: 60 to 79.
  • Fair: 40 to 59.
  • Needs Improvement: below 40.

Days under the person’s Threshold Working Hours are flagged as below the minimum. Targets come from each person’s settings. See Change one employee’s tracking settings.
